Verbum et Ecclesia (previously published as Skrif en Kerk)

Verbum et Ecclesia is the academic journal of the Dutch Reformed Church at the Faculty of Theology, University of Pretoria.

Accredited by the South African National Department of Education, has an international board of editors, and all articles are peer reviewed. Previously published as Skrif en Kerk

Vision

The periodical functions within the framework of the university's primary functions: training, research and community service. It is the vision of Verbum et Ecclesia to equip and inform students, ministers, theologians, and other interested people, on the latest theological research.

Frequency of publication

Verbum et Ecclesia appears twice a year (in July and November). A third edition is published periodically as a commemoration edition, or as a special edition on a specific subject or topic.
