Haematological conditions in the obstetric patient
Haematological abnormalities are frequently encountered in the obstetric patient. Cytopenias are common, with anaemia
and thrombocytopenia predominating. Many other haematological conditions are seen during pregnancy, however, in this
review, I intend to describe the common abnormalities and the management thereof.
