Abstract:

Chronic renal disease (CRD) in adults is fairly common worldwide. CRD is often associated with cardiovascular mortality, which is increasing. In adults CRD is associated with systemic hypertension, diabetes mellitus and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or glomerulonephritis (GN).
