Abstract

The threat to honeybee populations in the USA, Europe and Latin America over the past few years has received extensive media attention.Yet, very little is said about African honeybee populations, even though honeybees come from Africa.
Die bedreigde heuningbybevolkings in die VSA, Europa en Latyns-Amerika het die afgelope paar jaar baie aandag van die media ontvang. Tog word daar baie min oor Afrika-heuningbybevolkings berig, alhoewel heuningbye vanaf Afrika kom.
