Abstract

From the Pearse Collection: photograph depicting a silver tea kettle on two stands (one could be an ornately decorated komvoor), with a tea pot and a milk jug, the last two probably from the last quarter of the 18th century. Photograph may have been taken for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa", but never included.
