Abstract:

Daily entries from the 13th of January 1964 to the 20th of April 1964. These detailed entries describe Eaton’s time in the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Pretoria under treatment for mild arthritis.They include hourly activities, visits by hospital staff and friends, and dietary and medical prescriptions. Note: Abbreviations in left hand margin of diary generally refers to person consulted.
