dc.description.abstract	Servaas de Kock (1858-1933) was an assistant Surveyor General of the ZAR from 1884 and a surveyor for the department of lands of the Transvaal Colony. He was part of the Transvaal Portuguese demarcation commission in 1894. The collection, comprising personal documents, was donated by the De Kock family in 1960.	en_US
