Mapungubwe remembered is one of the most comprehensive illustrated book and is the first of its kind to be compiled about the history, research and contributions of the University of Pretoria to Mapungubwe. It is a historical, contemporary narrative and photographic record, featuring more than 400 photographs from the Mapungubwe museum archives from 1933 to date. It is an overview of research by twenty authors, mostly staff and alumni of the University of Pretoria.
