Map of the Transvaal (South-Africa) showing routes taken by Trichardt 1836 + 1837-1838; Harris 1836; Gordon Cumming 1846; Oswell-Vardon 1846; Mauch 1868; Erskine 1886; Baines 1871, Leatheren (Lydenburg - Delagoa) and places where tsetse flies were observed. Type locality of Glossina morsitans (close to junction of Pongola and Crocodile rivers) on border of Bechuanaland [Botswana].
