dc.description.abstract | This study presents a simulation based optimization study of a multi-tube trapezoidal cavity receiver of a Linear Fresnel Collector plant in Pretoria, South Africa. A comprehensive optimization study - an optical, thermal and economic optimization study - based on realistic simulations of these objective goals on an annual basis for such a plant is presented in this paper.
