dc.description.abstract An outbreak of dysentery in foals is recorded. The symptoms and post-mortem lesions have much in common with those of lamb dysentery. From the intestinal contents of two foals, Cl. welchii, type B (the lamb dysentery or Bloedpens bacillus) was isolated. en_ZA
