Work on the development of an oral vaccination
system for jackals is underway at the Veterinary Laboratory
(Diagnostics and Research Branch), Zimbabwe.
It is anticipated that the system will be used to
control the large rabies epidemics that occur in
jackals in Zimbabwe.
