Abstract:

 
In die eerste lêer word die eerste opmeting en kaart van Pretoria bespreek. 'n Uittreksel uit "Ou Pretoria: Gustav Preller" gee die herinneringe van Maria Bronkhorst weer. In die tweede lêer word "Ondersoek na die aannames rondom Lucas Bronkhorst en die oorblysels van sy huis in Pretoria" as eerste inwoner van Pretoria in uittreksels uit 'n tesis deur Dr. Anton van Vollenhoven bespreek.
 
The surveying of and first map of Pretoria is discussed in the first file. In an extract from "Ou Pretoria: Gustav Preller" the memories of Maria Bronkhorst are shared. The second file includes extracts from the thesis by Dr. Anton van Vollenhoven, "Ondersoek na die aannames rondom Lucas Bronkhorst en die oorblysels van sy huis in Pretoria".
