Abstract:

In hierdie artikel word streeksinset-uitsettabelle gebruik om die ekonomiese impak van besproeiingslandbou deur middel van 'n gevallestudie te bepaal. Die wyse waarop streeksinset-uitsettabelle saamgestel word, word bespreek. Die inkorporering van besproeiingslandbou as 'n aparte sektor in die streeksinset-uitsettabel word toegelig en daar word aangetoon hoe uitset-, inkome- en indiensname-vermenigvuldigers vir besproeiingslandbou bereken is. Hierdie vermenigvuldigers is gebruik om die ekonomiese impak van besproeiingslandbou in terme van uitset, inkome en indiensname te bepaal.
