Abstract:

The Heritage Field Academy, conducted 21-30 September 2009, intended to demonstrate what Pretoria’s historical features - including its Dutch traces - can contribute to its desired regeneration. At the same time it aimed at pointing out the way a regeneration strategy can support Pretoria’s historical features. For that reason the results of the Heritage Field Academy are presented in this report as an input for the Tshwane Inner City Development and Regeneration Strategy.
