Abstract:

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Indigenous to Southern Africa (Sanga type). Locally developed with european cattle.

SIZE: Medium.

COLOUR: Black.

PURPOSE: Beef.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Breed founded upon local black sanga type cows that were bred to imported Dutch Vaderlander cattle, during the governmentship of Willem Adriaan van der Stel in 1700.

Description:

The colour slides have been scanned with a HP ScanJet 5590 scanner; 24-bit true colour, 600 dpi, saved in JPEG-format. Downscaling was done with Adobe Photoshop.
