Abstract:

Disposition is so important because it is the basis on which academic achievement is built and is reflected in the mission of the University. The University of Pretoria regard it as their mission to equip students through courses of international standard, with a knowledge of the basic principles of scientific reasoning and knowledge, particularly of the fundamental and applied sciences. Furthermore the goal of the University is primarily to develop as a centre of excellence for the development of basic research.
