Description
Clinical history : A 47 year old female who underwent a bilateral masectomy for breast carcinoma and later developed an ovarian carcinoma with metastasis in the mediastinal lymph nodes, the visceral percardium with bilateral lymphangititis carcinomatosa in the lungs and bilateral pleural effusion.
Autopsy findings : 1. Bilateral ovarian carcinoma.
2. Metastatic carcinoma in the mediastinal lumph nodes.
3. Bilateral pleural metastasis with pericardial metastasis.
4. Lymphangitis carcinomatosa.
5. Chronic venous congestion in the liver.
Diagnosis: Chronic venous congestion
