dc.description.abstractThe aims of the plant breeding program are to produce new, high yielding and high quality vegetatively propagated (VP) cultivars and composite plants that are adapted to local conditions. This is achieved by crossing selected parental stocks of cultivars and plant selection based on ease of rooting, quality, yield and easily rooting invigorating rootstocks and high quality scions VP cultivars for the production of superior composite plants.en
