Description
Clinical history : A 43-year old male patient admitted with bleeding oesophageal varices had history of chronic alcoholism.
Adult respiratory distress syndrome developed and he died in a state of shock.
Autopsy findings : 1. Alcoholic liver cirrhosis.
2. Bleeding oesophageal varices.
3. Adult respiratory distress syndrome.
Diagnosis: Alcoholic liver cirrhosis (micronodular)
