Heritage Field Academy, Pretoria - cluster analysis

Abstract

The results of a field academy conducted by the Department of Architecture at the University of Pretoria, in conjunction with the 2009 African Perspectives congress. The field academy focussed on the buildings of the inner city of Pretoria and the history of the development of the inner city. It also focussed on the various methods that can be used to preserve the historical buildings for future generations. This presentation contains the analysis of various clusters in the city of Pretoria that were identified by the students in the field academy.
