Description
Clinical history : A 37 year old male who underwent personality changes 3 months before death.
The patient was an alcoholic for 5 years before he died in a motor accident and went into a deep coma after sustaining head injuries.
The patient presented with mild hypertension and a ring shadow in the right temporal lobe.
Autopsy findings : Anaplastic astrocytoma in the right temporal lobe of the brain.
2. Uncal herniation.
3. Acute bronchopneumonia.
Diagnosis: Anaplastic astrocytoma in the right temporal lobe
